Hello, this is Les and Buffy Wright, the directors of the Maui Oceanfront and Lake Tahoe Marathons.
We would personally like to invite you to join an exclusive trip and run of a lifetime to the mysterious country of Bhutan February 28 - March 6, 2018.
My wife and I are experienced world travelers having visited 89 different countries and just crossed Bhutan off our bucket list last March. Bhutan is a special place and hosts a special marathon and half.
The week-long event features a retreat with running legend Scott Jurek and culminates with the running of the Bhutan International Marathon.
We have been allocated 10 places for this great trip. If you would like to join our group from Tahoe and Maui, please reserve your trip with us soon.

The course starts on Wailea Alanui Drive near the Shops of Wailea and the Marriott Hotel heading north and then down onto South Kihei Road, through oceanfront Kihei Town with a left turn onto Highway 30 at the 11 mile mark above Maalaea Bay and continues oceanfront all the way to Front Street at the South end of Old Lahaina Town.
The last mile is through oceanfront residential and ends at oceanfront Kamehameha Iki Park at 525 Front Street. The entire course is on asphalt and the shoulder or bike path of the road. It is mostly between 4 and 8' wide. The course has many scenic pullouts and public beaches for family and friends to park, picnic and support your run.
